Moving to music
The revival of traditional Celtic dancing in America has exposed countless people to this lively performing art. As a result, young adults and children are now enrolling in dance classes more and more. Lexington is home to several dance studios which teach the art of Irish, Scottish and country folk dances.

Lexington Irish Dancers
The Lexington Irish Dancers is a non-competitive performance group. The group was formed in April 1996, and has performed at events ranging from local fairs and festivals, to appearances with the Lexington Philharmonic Orchestra at Picnic with the Pops, and out-of-town venues.
