The Lexington Irish Dancers is opening registration to new
students for their fall class session. Structured
for individuals of all ages and dance levels, the 12 week class will cover
Irish Step Dancing fundamentals, jigs, reels, and Ceili (Irish “social”
dancing) dances.

for Beginner Adult Dancers

Fee: $75 (discount for additional family members)

The McTeggart Irish Dancers is a non-profit organization dedicated to the practice of Irish dance in Central Kentucky.
Based at Arts Place in downtown Lexington, classes are held on Sunday afternoons and all children from the age of 5 are welcome to participate.
New dancers are taken on a quaterly basis, so please contact us to find a start date that will suit your dancer.
Our students also love to perform and will be appearing at several local venues throughout the year

Offering an opportunity to learn traditional Scottish Country Dancing. All classes taught by certificated teachers of the Royal Scottish Country Dance Society.

Moving to music
The revival of traditional Celtic dancing in America has exposed countless people to this lively performing art. As a result, young adults and children are now enrolling in dance classes more and more. Lexington is home to several dance studios which teach the art of Irish, Scottish and country folk dances.
