Here you will find a spirited and open community of children, teens and adults dedicated to the pursuit of Irish traditional music. We celebrate each person's achievements and honor the individual and collective talents of our extended family.

Kentucky's one and only Highland Renaissance Festival in Eminence, KY.
"The Ancient Order of Hibernians (AOH) is the nation's oldest and largest Irish-Catholic fraternal organization. Two of this division's big events are the St. Patrick's Parade on Baxter and the Louisville Irish Art Contest. The AOH can trace its name and motto back 300 years to similar groups in Ireland."

This group might serve as a public bulletin board for Irish/Celtic music and dance enthusiasts in and around Kentucky. Feel free to post information about any Irish/Celtic music event in the region. Kentucky's performing (Irish/Celtic) artists are welcome to post their gig schedule (see "Calendar"). Productive discussions about the music, its vitality, or its relation to Kentucky's indigenous music are encouraged.
